Renovations and Extensions Drafting

We are often asked by our clients if it is worthwhile to extend/renovate, or is it easier to purchase a new house. The cost of a new house and associated purchase costs, such as stamp duty and relocation fees, can add up enormously. Often, the cost of extension works can work out similarly to relocating.

If you are happy with your local networks, such as schools, shops, infrastructure and neighbours, it's well worth it to consider modifying your house to suit your current lifestyle requirements.

We will have a consultation with you to form up a design brief so that we understand your family's requirements and construction budget. We will also consider the characteristics of your existing home and the site including easements, orientation and slope of the site, to help determine the best possible design for your addition. This will be the important foundation to creating a design that suits your needs.

Once a design has been decided, the project progresses to working drawings, which allows the project to be costed up by your preferred builder.

We will liaise with any required consultants, such as engineer and energy rater, to make sure that your renovation complies with all current building regulations.
